The Hot List – January 2017

1. AMAZING GRASS – GREEN SUPERFOOD WATERMELON ENERGY
Amazing Grass has a full range of wheatgrass powders which are ideal to supercharge your day. This Watermelon Energy  contains about 85mg of plant-based caffeine per serving. It is a powerful blend of nutritious greens, phytonutrient-packed fruits, veggies and cereal grasses, digestive enzymes and probiotics.  I like wheatgrass but sometimes the taste can be overpowering hence Amazing Grass’ range of tasty flavours are ideal. You can find them at Planet Organic or ask the UK distributor Kinetic for your local stockist.

2. BIO-KULT – ADVANCED MULTI-STRAIN FORMULA
Taking care of your immune system is very important especially in Winter. It all starts in the gut with a balanced diet rich in fibre and some healthy bacteria. Bio-Kult’s Advance Multi-Strain Formula contains 14 strains of live bacteria for everyday use. You can find the details here.

3. BRAGG – ORGANIC APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
Another product said to keep your immune system and skin healthy is apple cider vinegar. It is also known for alkalising the body. Braggs Organic Apple Cider Vinegar is available from Amazon. It is raw, unfiltered and organic. You can cook with it as well as use it for health and beauty purposes.

4. OF THE EARTH – ORGANIC WHITE MULBERRIES
Rich in antioxidant and iron, white mulberries are delicious sprinkled on cereals, yogurt or simply eaten on their own. Love these from Of The Earth Superfoods available from Amazon.

5. REBEL KITCHEN – VANILLA ORGANIC COCONUT YOGURT
A couple of months ago I got to try this vegan vanilla organic coconut yogurt from Rebel Kitchen. Delicious! Ideal if you are vegan or dairy-free. Also there are other flavours and products available if you are a coconut fan. Full list of retailers here.

Bragg’s apple cider vinegar is one of the best raw apple cider vinegars I ever tried and I highly recommend it. I regularly buy it from Amazon.

I use it mostly in salad dressings but also as a digestion aid with warm water.
