Feeding kids healthy meals can be challenging. They can be very reticent to try new food and you end up cooking the same things over and over again. Jennifer came up with the genius idea of creating a family yearlong adventure where each family cooks one new food a week. The 52 New Foods Challenge offers 150 seasonal recipes to get inspired.
I was very excited when Jennifer asks me to be part of her 52 New Foods blogger challenge and create recipes inspired by her book. From my experience as a mum, getting kids cooking is a great way to get them to eat different food. Traditional cooking skills have greatly deteriorated. Yet knowing how to cook is essential and we all need to teach our kids. It will give them the best chance to stay healthy.
