Kale, Pineapple & Oat Smoothie [vegan] [gluten free]

I created this smoothie for House of Fraser with Kenwood’s 2Go Sport Blender.

No more worries of missing out on a nutritious post workout snack or excuses of not having time breakfast.

In keeping with House of Fraser’s scottish roots, I used rolled oats for this smoothie. They add a nice creamy touch without the need for dairy.

Designed for post workout recovery, it contains some key elements.

Oats are high in protein while pineapple contains bromelain and potassium. Kale and ginger also contain antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds. These nutrients are essential to help manage muscle pain and repair caused by exercise. They are also crucial for recovery.
