Ingredients

  • 2 pomegranates
  • 2 to 3 apples

TO SERVE (optional):

  • rosemary or mint sprigs

Instructions

  • Cut the pomegranates and extract the seeds.
    2 pomegranates
  • Wash the apples thoroughly. Cut them into chunks.
    2 to 3 apples
  • Feed the pomegranate seeds and apple chunks into the juicer to extract the juice.
  • Pour in a glass to serve.
  • If serving as mocktail, pour in sugar‑rimmed glasses (I like to mix a bit of juice in the sugar to give in a ruby colour). I like to serve the juice straight but you can also pour it over a generous amount of crushed ice, top it up with a splash of soda water or lemonade, and garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary or mint.
