Holland & Barrett Goes Big in Marble Arch

Holland & Barrett Marble Arch

Following the success of its More Stores in Chester, York and Plymouth, Holland & Barrett has opened a new location in Marble Arch, London. Holland & Barrett More Stores are designed to offer a wider selection of products ranging from food, beauty, supplements to sport nutrition.  Set up over two floors, Holland & Barrett More in Marble Arch has everything health-conscious Londoners can wish for.

I got a personal tour a couple of weeks ago and was really impressed to find many of my favourite brands. Here is a look at what to expect.

As soon as you step into the store you can find a “Fuel on the Move” station packed with bars and protein powder sachets as well as a fridge filled with protein and energy drinks. This is just perfect if you are on your way to the gym or looking for post-workout fuel before heading to the office or going home.

Holland & Barrett grab and go

The grab and go station opposite the “Fuel on the Move” section is filled with nuts, dried fruits and other healthy nibbles to pick and choose from. There is even an olive bar if you fancy something savoury.

The beauty department occupies a large section at the back of the store. Here you can find a large selection of manuka honeys as well as natural skincare, cosmetics and toiletries. You can even make your own natural body scrub in the Beauty Kitchen. I enjoyed making a Seaweed Body Polish with some Epsom salt and peppermint. Very soothing for my aching muscles as I have started training again for this year’s Sprint Triathlon 🙂

Other favourites include brands such as Weleda, Faith in Nature, dr.organic, Zoya vegan nail polish as well as a wide choice of aromatherapy products.

Further along, The Good Life Greenhouse is home to various health supplements, some of which you can mix and match in Holland & Barrett’s famous Penny Sale.

Moving on to the Veggie Food Market, Holland & Barrett More in Marble Arch brings together an impressive selection of store cupboard, frozen and chilled food. Whether you are vegetarian, vegan or flexitarian there is quite a lot to choose from. I was very excited to see Tofurky, Violife, VBites and Provamel.

The Veggie Home Baking section offers a wide selection of foods suitable for anyone suffering from intolerance or food allergies, as well as various high protein pastas from Liberto and Explore Asian

Downstairs is entirely dedicated to sports nutrition. There is another “Fuel on the Move” station and then as many protein powders you can ever wish for including whey protein powders but also vegetarian or vegan hemp and pea protein powders.

The Body Composition booth offers friendly advise to anyone wishing  to get tested. I politely declined 🙂

Holland & Barrett Body

Besides my Seaweed Body Polish, I walked out of the store with some goodies to try, including VeganEgg , some watermelon water and some watermelon snack seeds. More on these in the February Hot List.

If you find yourself in Marble Arch, make sure you stop by this fabulous Holland & Barrett More store. Besides the impressive merchandising, you can also use it as a Click & Collect point for any order placed online.
