These vegetarian avocado, strawberry & goat cheese tartines make a delicious lunch or snack.
A fantastic treat, bursting with sunny flavours which is absolutely delicious on some fresh crusty bread or sourdough.
Strawberries are a perfect match for savoury dishes as they pair really well in salads or with cheeses.

Avocado, Strawberry & Goat Cheese Tartines [vegetarian]

Ingredients
- 1 avocado
- 2 – 4 strawberries
- 1/2 lemon juice
- 60 g goat cheese
- 1 garlic clove – crushed
- salt & pepper
- small handful basil leaves
- 2 slices of your favourite bread
Instructions
- Remove the flesh of the avocado and place it in a bowl. Add lemon juice and crushed garlic.
- Mash everything to a paste with a fork. Season to taste.
- Lightly toast the bread slices. Sprinkle with the goat cheese.
- Share the avocado spread between the bread slices. Top with sliced strawberries and basil leaves.
