Looking for a delicious and healthy appetiser or light meal? Look no further than these tofu lettuce wraps with peanut butter dip.
These tofu lettuce wraps are a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional meat-filled wraps. Served with a tasty peanut butter dip, these vegetarian wraps are packed with plant protein and full of flavour. They make a perfect low-carb appetiser or lunch for anyone looking to incorporate more plant-based meals into their diet.
These tofu lettuce wraps are truly versatile and can be easily customised with different fillings and toppings to suit individual tastes or whatever ingredients you have at hand.
This is a quick and easy recipe. You will need to press the tofu first (using a tofu press or plates) for around 20 minutes during which time you can prep the rest of the ingredients.
The tofu is then grated using the coarse side of a box grater and fried with oil and seasonings until golden brown. Once cooked, the grated tofu has the look and consistency of shredded chicken or pork. All that is left to do is to build the tofu lettuce wraps and serve them with the peanut butter dip.

First time ever cooking with tofu and it went down a treat, even with the kids!
Not sure if I’d make it again, a bit too faffy for my liking, but definitely feeling much more confident in trying more tofu recipes 🙂
