This air fryer broccoli recipe makes a quick, healthy, and easy side dish that you can serve on its own and with your favourite toppings.
Deliciously crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, this air fryer broccoli makes a quick, healthy, and easy side dish that you can serve on its own and with your favourite toppings.
The broccoli florets are tossed in olive oil, salt, and garlic powder first, then cooked in the air fryer for 8 to 10 minutes.
This air fryer broccoli can simply be enjoyed on its own. However, I also like to serve it with my whipped feta cheese dip topped with thinly sliced red onions, lemon juice, and chilli flakes.

Additional topping suggestions
Air fry broccoli is very versatile and pairs well with many different food and flavours. Here are some suggestions:
- Cheese: Add a sprinkle of cheese on top of your air fry broccoli. Parmesan is delicious, but you can also use pecorino, cheddar, feta, blue cheese, etc… If you want to melt the cheese, simply add it on top of the cooked broccoli and return the basket to the air fryer. Cook for an additional 1 or 2 minutes until the cheese has melted.
- Nuts: Add some extra crunch with a sprinkle of almonds, cashews, pine nuts, hazelnuts, or walnuts.
- Breadcrumbs: Toss the cooked broccoli in seasoned breadcrumbs and return the basket to the air fryer. Cook for an additional 1 or 2 minutes until the breadcrumbs are golden.
- Fresh Herbs: For a boost of flavour, add chopped herbs like parsley, oregano, coriander, thyme, basil, rosemary, or dill.
- Lemon Juice + Zest: Drizzle some lemon juice and zest for some extra tang.
