Persimmons have a sweet and sour taste and pair really well with nuts, cinnamon, cheese, honey and cream. Eat them raw in salads, breakfast bowls or add them on top of bruschettas for a bright and colourful appetiser. Best eaten when soft, they are in season during the autumn and winter.
