Linda McCartney's Veggie Table NVW18

Following the success of the inaugural event last year , Linda McCartney’s Veggie Table is back for a second year running to celebrate the very best in meat free eating,

To meet the ever-growing demand for vegetarian and vegan options, this year the event expanded into a second city. Marking the start of National Vegetarian Week, Linda McCartney’s Veggie Table kicked off in Bristol on 12th and 13th May, and is heading to London to finish off the festivities on 19th and 20th May.

The Wanted star Jay McGuiness, a vegetarian and keen cook who has his own vegetarian lifestyle book lined up for future release, is returning to front the event for a second time. Rolling up his sleeves alongside the Linda McCartney’s team, he will help demonstrate how to create healthy, tasty and simple meat free meals that can easily be recreated in the comfort of your own home.

Vegetarians, vegans and meat-reducers alike will be invited to relax and mingle in Linda’s Lounge while enjoying a selection of delicious mocktails and meat free canapes, before Jay and the Linda McCartney’s in house chef take centre stage.

Cooking up a variety of delicious recipes, the duo will be on hand to answer the crowd’s meat free questions and showcase the versatility and flavours that can be enjoyed as part of a vegetarian diet.
