English chocolatier Undairy has launched its Icons Selection Box, a vegan Christmas chocolate box inspired by the tub of nostalgic favourites many of us open every year.
If you’re dairy-free, Christmas can mean watching everyone else dig into a tin of Celebrations or Quality Street while you make do with whatever the free-from aisle has to offer. Undairy (The Undairy Co.) wants to fix that. Its new Icons Selection Box (£18.95, 280g) brings together seven festive flavours, each remade from scratch to be dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan.
What’s in the Undairy Icons Selection Box?
Each flavour is a nod to a well-known classic:
- Original Creamy: a take on the classic milk chocolate bar
- Speculoos Biscuit: inspired by the Biscoff truffle
- Chocolate Orange: a festive staple
- Honeycomb: crisp and golden, Crunchie-style
- Gooey Cream: a fondant-filled treat in the spirit of the Creme Egg
- Hazelnut Praline: a version of the much-loved “Big Purple”
- Truffle: a silky take on the Green Triangle
All seven are built on Undairy’s Original Creamy recipe. It’s the brand’s best-selling bar and has won Gold in the Best Chocolate category at the Free From Awards in both 2025 and 2026. The chocolate uses single-origin organic Peruvian cacao, and each recipe takes around five days to go from production to a finished, tempered and wrapped bar.
The story behind Undairy
Founder Chris Chappill started Undairy in 2022 after he had to cut dairy from his diet and couldn’t find a creamy milk chocolate alternative worth eating. The team calls the free-from aisle “Sad Alley”, and their aim from the start has been to make dairy-free chocolate that can hold its own in the mainstream chocolate aisle. At food shows such as BBC Good Food, they’ve run blind taste tests against mainstream milk chocolate, and Undairy has often come out as the favourite.
