People sometimes cringe at the idea of their favourite meat dish made vegetarian or vegan. Yet meat free recipes often make delicious alternatives. Ingredients such as mushrooms and aubergines have a “meaty” structure while lentils, tofu and chickpeas contribute healthy proteins.
So can a meat free dish be as good as its classic meaty version? My answer is a resounding YES! But don’t just take my word for it.
