MOMO passion fruit kombucha is back for the autumn. Made with Natoora and organic Spanish fruits left to fall from the vine, it’s sweet, sour and bursting with tropical flavour.

MOMO x Natoora: A Great Kombucha Collaboration
MOMO is run by husband-and-wife team Josh and Lisa Puddle, who brew raw kombucha using traditional methods at their South London brewery. I had the pleasure to visit it last year when they were launching their blood orange kombucha.
Momo’s kombucha is Soil Association certified organic and their seasonal flavours are made in collaboration with fruit and vegetable specialists Natoora. Natoora sources top quality seasonal, and heritage-variety produce, as well as specialty foods directly from small-scale growers and independent producers.
MOMO passion fruit kombucha is no different. First launched in autumn 2025 it returns for a second season. The passion fruits are grown by Amadora a fourth-generation farmer located near Sevilla, Spain. Sales of this kombucha support Natoora’s Farm Fund, dedicated to help the next generation of farmers shape a more sustainable future.
Passion Fruit That’s Caught, Not Picked
Commercial passion fruit is often picked early so it survives transport. But Amadora never harvests from the vine at all. Instead, she lays nets beneath the plants and waits for the fruit to drop, the sign it has reached peak ripeness. The result is passion fruit that is less acidic, sweeter and more aromatic.
Passion fruit has two short harvests a year, from December to March and from July to August. Natoora’s direct relationship with Amadora means the fruit is caught at its very best.

How Momo Passion Fruit Kombucha Tastes
MOMO passion fruit kombucha is sweet, sour and tropical, with the bright, zesty finish from MOMO’s raw kombucha. A taste of sunshine in the middle of a grey and rainy English autumn. It definitely has a lot of character and you can enjoy it on its own, with lunch or dinner or add it to mocktails instead of a mixer. It comes in tightly capped glass bottles that can easily be recycled.
As with any raw kombucha, it is alive so expect a lot of fizz. Make sure you keep the bottles refrigerated as, when left at room temperature, kombucha cultures keep fermenting and the drink might turn sour.
