“This is a proud step for us. Barbs is all about real food and real Bajan flavour, cooked the way it’s meant to be,” says Nicc Wright, Founder of Barbs. “We’ve taken our family recipes and traditional techniques and created something that feels completely at home in Shoreditch.”

Barbs’ Shoreditch Mission: Flavour, Family & Community

Barbs was created by Nicc Wright and his Grandma Alder, who emigrated to the UK from Barbados. Her traditional Bajan family recipes are at the heart of everything Barbs does.

The new Barbs at Queen of Hoxton menu blends authentic island cooking with modern fast casual dining with something for everyone. Every dish is made from scratch with wholesome ingredients and crafted with soul, inspired by family recipes passed down through generations, and bursting with the bold flavours Barbados is known for.

Barbs is known for its bold dishes that capture the flavour of Barbados in every bite. There is something for everyone.
