You would never guess this deep purple smoothie contains broccoli and watercress.
I also included hemp powder for added protein.
Make it yours! Sweeten it with agave syrup, maple syrup or honey if needed. Add ginger and mint to taste.
This recipe makes 1 large smoothie or 2 smaller ones.
Secretly Green Smoothie [vegan] [gluten free]
- 1 pear
- 1 small handful frozen cherry
- 1 small handful frozen blueberry
- 1 small handful frozen raspberry
- 1 small handful watercress
- 50 g broccoli
- 250 ml almond milk
- 2 tsp hemp protein powder
- 1 small thumb of ginger
- mint leaves to taste
- maple syrup – agave syrup or honey to taste
- Put all the ingredients except mint and sweetener in a blender.
- Whizz until smooth.
- Add mint and sugar to taste.
