Tofu
Tofu is so versatile you can pretty much do anything with it. And while plain tofu can look unexciting and bland, cooked tofu is full of wonderful flavours and textures. The secret of unleashing its greatness is in it preparation and/or cooking. Tofu absorbs flavours of the other foods it is being cooked with, which makes it a great candidate for marinades, stews, stir-fries etc… Tofu can also substitute cream, eggs and cheese.
