1. JimJams Vegan Chocolate Spreads
Pancakes anyone? JimJams have just launched two new vegan no-added-sugar chocolate spreads, a delicious Dark Chocolate Orange and a moreish Dark Hazelnut Spread. They are both absolutely yummy!
Both are made with dark chocolate which you taste more in the Dark Chocolate Orange (a bit more of a grown-up taste) than in the Dark Hazelnut Spread which was the kids’ favourite as it is almost identical to “that other famous hazelnut spread”.
Sweetened with maltitol, a sugar alcohol produced from maltose, both products pack all the taste of your favourite chocolate spreads while containing less sugar and calories and being kinder on teeth.

2. Moorish Smoked Humous
I am completely obsessed with Moorish Smoked Humous. Made with smoked chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice and garlic, this is my new favourite dip. It is so addictive.
Great on its own with pitta bread, rice cakes or toast, it also pairs nicely with raw vegetables. The smoked chickpeas add so much depth. It’s a must try!

4. Like Schnitzel
Last month, I partnered with Like Meat and created this Sausage and Potato Casserole recipe with their “Like Smoked Sausages”. While trying out the rest of the range, I discovered their brilliant Like Schnitzel.
Quick and easy to cook, they have a great gluten-free breaded texture and are packed with flavour. Just as good as the real thing if not better.

5. Heura Chunks and Strips
Based in Barcelona, Heura is another meat substitute making its mark in the UK. Heura Chunks and Heura Strips can simply be fried in a pan and seasoned to taste, to be enjoyed on salads or wraps. If you feel more adventurous, Heura has a nice recipe collection filled with delicious ideas. Both the Chunks and Strips cook really well and have a good texture.
