1. ICE LOLLIES MAKER
I had been looking for a while for a wooden stick ice lollies maker. My previous model had plastic sticks that always went missing so these are easier to replace. This one makes ten 90ml lollies. You can use fruits, yogurt, coconut water etc.. to create healthy treats. Norpro Frozen Ice Pop Maker is available from Amazon.
2. EDAMAME PASTA
After enjoying Explore Asia’s Pulse Pasta, I went on to buy their Organic Edamame Spaghetti. High in protein and gluten free, these are also delicious and make a healthy low-carb alternative to pasta.
3. COCONUT WATER
Thirst quenching on its own, I also like to use Vita Coco’s coconut water in smoothies or ice lollies. High in potassium, it is also fat and cholesterol free.
4. MERCHANT GOURMET
Merchant Gourmet’s Ready To Eat Pulses & Grains make great salads, casseroles and side dish in no time. I especially like to use them when camping or when I am really short of time.
5. CHIA SEEDS
High in calcium, protein, fibre, omega-3 and a wealth of minerals plus antioxidants, chia seeds are so versatile I now use them almost everyday: sprinkled on salads, added to smoothies or mixed into porridge. Raw Health’s chia seeds contain raw ingredients which have not been heated above 42°C. They also come in a handy plastic container.
