To celebrate World Vegan Month this November, Whole Foods Market is hosting a series of exclusive vegan pop-up lunches in two of their London stores, serving award-winning plant-based Oumph! Tacos and Kebabs.
As regular readers will know, I am such a big fan of Oumph. Made from soya beans, Oumph looks, feels and tastes like meat but is completely plant-based, free from gluten, dairy and nuts.
The Oumph! range of products are easy to cook. They are versatile and suitable to grill, boil, sauté, deep-fry or heat over an open fire. They make perfect food for sharing and enjoying together.
The current UK range includes Pulled Oumph!, Thyme & Garlic, Kebab Spiced and The Chunk.
The Chunk is Pure Oumph! and contains only soya protein concentrate, water and salt. You can then add your own seasonings to make it your own.
Pulled Oumph!, Thyme & Garlic and Kebab Spiced are already seasoned so you can simply add vegetables, herbs, condiments etc.. of your choice.
The dates for Oumph! Vegan Pop-Up Lunches are as follows:
Tuesday 31 October: Oumph! Taco Tuesday, Whole Foods Market Kensington. 11.30am – 2.30pm.
Wednesday 1 November: Oumph! Kebab Wednesday, Whole Foods Market Kensington. 11.30am – 2.30pm.
Tuesday 14 November: Oumph! Taco Tuesday, Whole Foods Market Piccadilly. 11.30am – 2.30pm.
Wednesday 15 November: Oumph! Kebab Wednesday, Whole Foods Market Piccadilly. 11.30am – 2.30pm.
Oumph! is part of a wider concept within Swedish based Food for Progress and a tool for igniting positive change in the way we create, prepare and enjoy good food on a global scale.
