If you are short in time, prepare the smoothie ingredients ahead (except for the water and maple syrup) and stick in the freezer. Remember to cut the fruits and ginger into smaller pieces otherwise your blender might find it difficult to whizz through the frozen mix. When you are ready to use it, simply throw all the frozen ingredients into your blender. You might have to use more water if it is too thick.
