1. Microplane Premium Classic Zester
This classic Microplane ultra-sharp zester is a kitchen essential, which comes in really handy, especially at this time of the year with all that Christmas baking.
Expertly designed, with an ultra-sharp etched blade and a comfortable ergonomic handle, it will not only grate extra-fine citrus peel but also Parmesan cheese, chocolate, garlic, spices, ginger etc ..
It is so versatile, I use mine almost every day. It slides into a protective storage case so you can keep it safely in a drawer.
Dishwasher safe for easy cleaning, this is another really useful and durable addition to any kitchen. Another useful product in this range is the Microplane Gourmet Series Fine Julienne Blade.

2. Buttermilk Peanut Butter Crunch
Artisan confectioner since 1964, Buttermilk is famous for its delicious Cornish fudge and confectionery ranges. They have just launched a new dairy-free and vegan range.
We tried and tested the Buttermilk Peanut Butter Crunch. Under their chocolate cover, the chocolatey crispy bites have a scrumptious and soft peanut butter filling. Delicious! They went down a treat with the whole family. My kids are generally not very keen on dark chocolate but absolutely loved these.
The new vegan range from Buttermilk is made from natural ingredients. It is vegan, dairy-free, palm oil-free and gluten-free. It also comes in plastic-free, compostable pouches that you can apparently re-use to plant tomatoes or herbs!
In addition to Buttermilk Peanut Butter Crunch, the new vegan selection includes some two other drool-worthy treats: Buttermilk Dairy-Free Salted Caramel Cups and Buttermilk Vanilla Fudgy Bites.

3. Naturya Organic Cacao Maca Protein Blend
Naturya has launched a new range of superfood protein blends which contain 15g of plant-based protein per serving.
Combining high quality, nutrient-rich organic hemp protein powder, made from cold-pressed hemp seeds, the new Protein Blend range includes three natural tasting superfood fruity flavours: Banana Baobab, Acai Strawberry and Cacao Maca.
Delicious and nutritious, Naturya’s Plant SuperProtein can easily be added to post work-out smoothies, high-protein bakes or stirred through porridge, a smoothie bowl or yoghurt.
I have really enjoyed all three flavours as they taste deliciously natural. I must admit, I have a slight obsession with Cacao Maca right now and have been adding it to my morning smoothie bowls and porridge. It feels slightly indulgent, yet so healthy. What a great way to start the day!

4. Naked Glory Sausages
Last month, we tried Naked Glory Quarter Pounders and were so impressed we decided to try their new sausages.
While their texture is very “meat-like” (my newly vegetarian daughter refused to eat them as she did not believe they were vegan), I personally found them quite greasy and did not enjoy them. That said, they are very tasty and contain less fat than conventional pork sausages.
Made from textured soya and wheat proteins, Naked Glory Sausages come with The Vegan Society’s seal of approval and are available in both the chilled aisles.

5. The Tofoo Co. Teriyaki Block Tofu
I discovered The Tofoo Co. organic tofu range four years ago and I have been a fan ever since. Organic and handmade, their tofu tastes fantastic and I love the fact that you do not have to press it. So much easier to prepare when you are in a rush. I always have a block or two of The Tofoo Co. Smoked Tofu in my fridge for a quick and easy grilled tofu sandwich lunch. It always hits the spot!
Lately, The Tofoo Co. Teriyaki Tofu has become a new favourite. Infused with an extremely flavoursome teriyaki marinade, it tastes absolutely fantastic. I like it simply grilled on rice with some steamed vegetables on the side but you can also add it to stir-fries, skewers or wraps.
