1. Minor Figures Organic Barista Oat M*lk
Until recently I had been using Oatly Barista, but following the company’s disappointing decision of taking funding from a private investment firm with alleged links to Amazon deforestation and whose CEO is a major donor to the Trump campaign, I decided that it was time to find an alternative. I was really glad to come across Minor Figures Organic Barista Oat M*lk and in fact, even prefer it to Oatly.
Based in East London, Minor Figures is a coffee company that makes coffee products and brewing essentials. Their Barista Oat M*ilk is available as organic or non-organic. Minor Figures Organic Barista blends perfectly in hot drinks without a creamy aftertaste so the coffee flavours can really shine through. It doesn’t split and creates perfectly textured micro-foam when steamed. The non-barista option is ideal for cereals, smoothies or tea.

2. Holy Moly Guacamole
Another great find was Holy Moly Original Guacamole. Creamy with big chunks of avocado, it is really fresh and deliciously tasty. Each 150g pot contains two avocadoes, which are combined with hand-cut chunky fresh tomatoes, finely diced red onion, a touch of jalapeno chilli, crushed garlic, coriander, a squeeze of lime and a pinch of salt. Perfect with tortilla chips or as a side for chilli.

3. Naked Glory Quarter Pounders
We recently cooked these Naked Glory Quarter Pounders for a BBQ and got a full thumbs up from both omnivores and vegans. These burgers are very nicely seasoned and have a chunky meaty texture.
Made from textured soya and wheat proteins, Naked Glory Quarter Pounders come with The Vegan Society’s seal of approval and are available in both the chilled and frozen aisles.

4. Seed Snacks from Pep & Lekker
Guilt-free snacking at it best. Available in five flavours (Rosemary & Hemp Seed, Cumin & Linseed, Fennel & Chia Seed, Apple & Cinnamon and Cacao & Coconut), each pack of Seed Snacks contains at least five varieties of nutritious and delicious seeds.
These tasty crackers are baked, not fried, and made using apple puree and chicory root fibre. Perfect on their own or with dips. I particularly liked the Rosemary & Hemp Seed while the kids enjoyed the Cacao & Coconut.
I also really love the fact that Seed Snacks do not include any palm oil and that they come in compostable pouches.
