
Rhubarb
Rhubarb is often associated with desserts. However, it also pairs perfectly in savoury dishes and curries. Forced rhubarb which is grown in the dark appears in January while rhubarb grown in fields appears in April.
UK Season: January to July.
Nutritional Content: Good source os Fibre, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Calcium, Potassium, Manganese, Magnesium, Calcium and Antioxidants.
