This 5 Min Avocado Spread recipe is a quick and easy spread that you can have on your favourite bread, bagel or even as a dip.

Super healthy, it makes a tasty alternative to mayonnaise or other creamy fillings. It can be made in no time, so there are no more excuses to go for a store-bought sandwich.

Perfect for lunch, breakfast, brunch or as a snack pre or post-workout.

This is the kind of food that really nourishes you from the inside and keep you going all day.

This recipe makes enough spread for two bagels.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium ripe avocado
  • 2 Tbsp fresh coriander leaves – finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp fresh parsley leaves – finely chopped
  • 1/2 Tbsp fresh mint leaves – finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove – crushed
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • juice of 1 to 2 lemons
  • 1 roasted pepper – from a jar finely chopped
  • sprinkle sunflower seeds
  • salt & pepper
(Switch on to prevent your screen from going dark)

Instructions
 

  • Make the avocados with a fork.
  • Add the crushed garlic, ground cumin, chopped herbs, lemon juice and roasted pepper.
  • Mixed together. Season to taste.
  • Spread on your favourite bread or bagel, sprinkled with some sunflower seeds.
